Do you need an original document scanned that exceeds the limits of standard flat bed scanners? ECC's Graphics now offers a scanning service for originals as large as 12” by 17”. Until now you either had to go to a photographer to have the original copied on analog film or go off campus to a commercial vendor to have this done. Now this service is available right on campus and can be done as easily as contacting our multimedia artist, Danielle Rogers, either by phone at 777-3322 or by e-mail at dsrogers@binghamton.edu. Stan can arrange to pick up the originals at your convenience or you can arrange a time to come to the Graphics studio at SW-B24. Usually one original can be scanned while you wait. Should you need several done or the condition of your originals require electronic retouching you may need to give us a few days to complete your project.
The section of our web site listing all the films and videos we store in ECC has been upgraded to be a searchable database. You may search by title, series title or departmental owner to find the films you are looking for. You do not need to know the exact title: entering just one word or even part of a word you know is in the title will give you a list of films with those characters anywhere in the title. The HP Designjet wide-format color printer is an ink-jet printer that prints on matt and glossy paper. A print can be up to 42" high by most any length. Cost for wide-format prints is $3/square foot and a color proof is $3.
