Many classrooms across campus are equipped with permanently installed televisions and videocassette players. Some of these classroom installations require a key to gain access to the VCR. If you need a television and videocassette player in another room that is not on this list, call our office (x4757) to order one for delivery. Requests for delivery to non-equipped locations must be made before 4:00 p.m. on the prior business day. Special accommodations pending availability of equipment and staff. ALL REQUESTS ARE SCHEDULED ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS! UNITS AVAILABLE ARE LIMITED!
NTSC - VHS to VHS, no charge if you supply the blank tape. We can also convert multistandard PAL, SECAM to NTSC or vice versa. Copywritten media WILL NOT be duplicated unless written permission from the copyright holder is provided. Monaural audio cassette duplication at no charge, unless we provide the blank tape.
Equipped with installed PC and MAC computers, plus connections for Laptop or Powerbook; Elmo 3 dimensional display; Laserdisc and stereo audiocassette players; high resolution large-screen projection.
Audiovisual Services now offers both an analog and digital video editing suite. The analog system accepts and edits standard VHS videocassettes only, the digital system is in our Imac computer with Imovie. Create professional video presentations complete with special effect mixes and character generated text on either system (requires some prior preparation). Available for first come/first served reservation, daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Call 7-5505 for preparation details.
